Cute do-it-yourself basket for little things

Perhaps every person, sooner or later, is faced with the problem of storing useful little things. Making an original vase with your own hands, perfectly suitable for storing small items, is not at all difficult. In addition to convenience and practicality, such a basket can be painted in any color you like, thereby perfectly complementing the interior of the room.

To make a basket you will need:

thick rope (can be found in the hardware store);
hot glue gun and glue for it;
scissors;
paints;
decorative tape.

1. We form the lower part

Apply hot glue to one end of the rope and twist it around yourself as tightly as possible. Then, continuing to apply glue, wrap the rope exactly in a horizontal plane three to four more times. Thus, you have formed the bottom of the basket.

2. Glue the side

After the formation of the bottom, you can begin to glue the side part. With each circle, the rope should be raised higher. Continue gluing until the basket reaches the required size. Excess glue can be removed after drying.

3. Finish gluing

Bend and glue the upper end of the rope to the inside of the basket. Let the glue dry thoroughly.

4. We paint

Now you need to paint the basket. To make the basket in two colors, wrap with tape the part that you would like to leave unpainted. Then apply at least two coats of paint (aerosol can be used) and allow the basket to dry.
